When someone wants to make a heartfelt change in their life that maybe doesn’t come easily – for
example, having a healthier body, finding a loving partner, or running a thriving business – there’s a
pre-requisite for success…

believing that change is doable.

And believing this enough to get through the inevitable challenges.

But if you’ve hit obstacles over time, belief can feel a bit shaky and result in on-again, off-again efforts.

Sara might believe she deserves a better job, and have a few good days of looking at open positions and editing her resume. But if her belief is shaken by a bad experience at work or a rejection letter, she might waiver, stop job seeking, and dive into the chocolate donuts instead.

When Believing Waivers

Part of Sara getting back on track is the people she’s surrounded with. The most helpful thing we can do when it comes to making important changes is to have support.

Support might be a friend who encourages you to keep going.

Support might be a group of some kind all with a similar goal, sharing struggles and wins.

Support might be a therapist or coach (obviously I’m biased here) who can remind you of your strengths, and help you keep going through the wobbles.

We’re Meant To Help One Another

We aren’t meant to do life alone. We’re meant to rely on one another.

Sometimes that means making a financial investment.

When I think back over my life, there were experts all along the way who helped me get to the next stage. The amount of freedom I have today is jaw-dropping to me – and it would not have been possible without the support and brilliance of these people – plus the personal growth I’m committed to.

Where To Find People

Who can you connect with to help you achieve an important goal?

If no one comes to mind, please consider groups on various social media platforms. Or consider finding a coach.

Whether you like the Internet or not, it could be the answer to your success, and maybe some new friends. Millions of people are online now, and you can search for groups far beyond your own zip code. Ruling out online support in this day-and-age is like… well… it ain’t your smartest move 😀

The sooner we all stop trying to do difficult things alone, the better. And the quicker our lives will become more of what we want them to be. Plus… it’s way more fun to share the journey !

Go find yourself a partner-in-crime, or two.
